We launched our pilot in the fall of 2021 with intent to learn as much as possible about what people want most in a digital ticketing platform. Our team knows shows pretty well, but we’re determined to make sure we’re building the right tool with the right features. That means testing and learning, listening to our pilot participants, delivering new features, and paying attention to what works. In the last year and a half, we’ve added features, built a more stable back end, and pressure-tested the platform with scores of live events. Now that the pilot is over, we’d like to share some stats on what we’ve done and where we’re headed:
- Pilot Groups: 24
- Events Supported: 91
- Tickets Sold: 7500+
- Total Ticket Revenue: $125,000+
With all that effort and insight under our belts, we’re ready to step out into the open and bring Gobo to a wider audience. While we’re primarily focused on our hometown Twin Cities market, we’re getting more eager to connect with performers and presenters across the United States who’d like to check us out. And even though we’re flipping the switch from “pilot” to “soft launch,” we’ll remain committed to learning and improving as we go. We’ve got loads of useful features in the backlog, and we can’t wait to add more based on the needs of hardworking creators and producers everywhere.
We don’t plan on stopping, either. As of October 2023, we’ve now sold over 13,000 tickets for over $200,000 in revenue. And not a single cent has been passed onto a patron as an add on fee. Try us out today and find out why Gobo is different.
Cheers,
The Gobo Team 🎶 🎉
