WFT IS GOBO
A gobo is a translucent insert used to create cool colors or patterns in stage lighting. Gobo is also the name of our new event ticketing platform that promotes transparency between people on all sides of the performance economy — artists, venues, agents, presenters, and fans.
What does it cost to use Gobo?
Signing up is free, and you can leave at any time. Free events are free to ticket — if you’re not charging for admission, we’re not charging you either. If you’re selling tickets, we take a modest flat fee only on the tickets you actually sell.
You say “no fees,” but you have to be making money somehow, right?
We believe in transparency and fairness. We charge a modest 5% transaction fee on each ticket purchase. Our goal is to keep that cost as low as possible so that it doesn’t need to be passed on to the ticket buyer — i.e., so fans can get tickets and enjoy the show with no unnecessary fees. This differs from other ticketing platforms that charge higher fees and/or require additional subscription, membership, or per-event costs.
