Are Gobo tickets all digital? Are they printable?
Eliminating waste is a priority for the industry and for the planet. We are an all-digital platform. We issue codes that ticket buyers can use to attend shows without the need to print anything.
Why would I use Gobo instead of my current ticket platform?
Because you want lower fees, an easier user interface, and better data access to help inform smart decisions about marketing, programming, pricing, and more. Also because filling houses is what we care about. You’ll have the support of a committed team that’s eager to know how we can continuously improve our platform.
Does Gobo work with other tools I use?
We’re not a closed platform. Our goal is to integrate with any of the tools you use to promote your events — social media, CRM systems, e-mail marketing, or finance systems. We’re still in the process of setting up platform integrations, so if there’s one that is most important to you, please tell us.
How do I actually recognize tickets at the show?
We currently have a will call capability that supports multiple ticket lines. We’re working on a barcode scanning feature that will soon allow patrons to share and sell tickets securely without the possibility of fraud.
Can I use Gobo for free events?
Absolutely. There is no charge to use our platform for distributing free tickets.
What is Gobo used for/not used for?
Gobo is primarily aimed at independent artists and the presenters/venues that support them. Whether you’re a musician, comedian, storyteller, dance troupe, chainsaw juggler — if you produce live shows, we’re here for you. Our platform is streamlined and lightweight, so if you’re a corporate entity producing massive events with umpteen different ticket tiers and types, we probably aren’t for you.
